Elisabeth England

Hi there! My name is Elisabeth England, and I am a fifth-year doctoral candidate in KU’s Counseling Psychology program. I am planning on applying for internship this fall. I am originally from Iowa where I received my B.A. in Psychology at Cornell College. My research interests focus on the area of positive psychology, specifically the concept of hope within the therapist/client relationship. I love the idea of using positive psychology in treatment modalities from eating disorders to veterans to anyone in between. Outside of research and academics, I enjoy chasing around my 1-year-old daughter, spending time with friends and family (ideally boating on a lake) and traveling. Fun fact: I grew up on a miniature cow farm, so I was surrounded by half-sized cows most of my life.
