Biography —
My research focuses on the use of and effectiveness of strengths-based therapy, such as the Values in Action Inventory, in clinical populations. I am also interested in the endorsement of masculine norms impacting attitudes toward help-seeking in military and athletic male populations. Clinically, I utilize acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychotherapy. Outside of KU, I am a mental performance consultant and work with youth athletes for IMG Academy. In my free time, I enjoy testing out new restaurants with my husband, traveling, and exploring nature trails with my Springer Spaniel, Indiana.
