Biography —
Hi! I'm Hayden Kammer, a first-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program. I'm originally from Northwest Indiana, just outside of Chicago! I attended Wabash College for my undergrad, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. I then was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, where I conducted research in Latvia on the effects of board games on university students in reducing burnout and increasing sense of belonging. My research interests focus on developing strategies to reduce burnout and form meaningful relationships amongst men to reduce suicide rates and increase overall life satisfaction. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exploring nature, cooking, playing board games, and playing Pokémon Go!
